Rochester Mountain Bike Team Club Letter Requirements

The Rochester Mountain Bike Team is a Cycling Club with an optional racing program at Rochester High School in Michigan. Those RHS students who choose to race, are eligible to earn a “Club Letter” in the Sport of Mountain Biking if they fulfill the below stated requirements. For those students who join us from other schools and/or districts, we will work on your behalf with your school’s administration to try to attain letter status for you.

Students will train and compete in the Michigan Scholastic Cycling Association (MiSCA) racing series from August thru mid-October. Students will race for both individual and composite team points throughout the season which will accumulate as overall points. After the final race, these points are calculated and State Champions are awarded.

During this first year of our Varsity Level Program, letters will be given for the high effort shown by each student rather than based on results. We realize that it takes years to build fitness and skills levels on the bike and students racing in both the Junior Varsity and Varsity classes will be eligible.

Letter Requirements
